What is Phosphatidylcholine?
Phosphatidylcholine (PC) is a phospholipid attached to a choline particle. Phospholipids contain fatty acids, glycerol, and phosphorous. PC is a chemical contained in eggs, soybeans, mustard, sunflower, and other foods. It is found naturally in the body in all cells.
PC is also a source of choline in the body. Although PC is traditionally used to support brain health, it can also support liver function and keep cholesterol levels in check.
